We offer a service where we pick up the vehicle from your home or business and drop it off at another home or business. Some companies offer depot to depot which can be cheaper but this means that you need to organise your own travel to and from the depot. If you do not yet have a firm destination point, discuss this with us and perhaps we can offer you an alternative.
Yes. Some car carriers don’t allow personal belongings in the vehicle. We do, although there are some conditions:
- The belongings in the car must not reach higher than the base of the windows.
- There are some weight restrictions so please talk to us to find out more.
We offer both open and enclosed truck services (enclosed upon request). We do not recommend that you place car covers on your vehicle as they can damage the paint when travelling in an open truck. As many precautions are taken as possible to prevent damage to your vehicle whilst in our care.
We offer Online Transfer, MasterCard / Visa Credit Cards and Bank Deposits.
We do move “non runners”. In most cases they need to be a rolling shell, meaning they must at least have a steering wheel and wheels. If they do not have these then a forklift must be available at both ends to load and unload the vehicle.
We build our runs according to the jobs we have for that week. Before the truck departs for that trip, we can give you the expected day of pickup and drop off but until the truck actually leaves for that run these days are always estimates only. We will try to fit in with you wherever possible, and will also make suggestions of alternative arrangements that you can make if you are not present. We ask that our customers remember that we have up to four other vehicles to deliver on a trip.
If you need to cancel your booking please contact Door to Door immediately on 1800 366 723. Cancelation fees will apply in some circumstances.
The more notice you give us, the more likely you are to have your car moved the way you require. Some customers have been known to book four or more weeks in advance and we love that! Of course we understand that is not always possible, but certainly the more notice the better.
NO. We move cars, 4WDs, caravans, boats, motorbikes, horse floats, trailers. If you have a vehicle of some description that you need moved then call us to see if we can help.
"We are very happy with the service. We were constantly kept informed of the progress and even got a surprise when it turned up a day earlier. The operators are friendly people and always willing to help. The car turned up in perfect order and was delivered straight into my driveway, I didn't have to organise somebody to help me go pick it up. Thank you for your great service."

"After contacting several similar car carrying firms I was most impressed with the customer service and friendly attitude of the staff spoken to in arranging the uplift. Price wise was more than comparable and on receipt of the vehicle the driver was also friendly and helpful, I have no hesitation in recommending the services of this company to any person wishing to utilise their services."

"Friendly, efficient, courteous service. I was impressed with the driver's attitude and the trouble he went to to look after the vehicle, including tying up the exhaust pipe when the rear support broke."
